Sharpie Pen Science
I chose this experiment because i wantred to try one of the different ways to tie-dye something
The reason this experiment worked is because the markers contain permanent ink, maening the ink will not wash away with water. The ink molecules are soluble in another solvent, and that is the rubbing alcohol. The rubbing alcohol takes the different colors of ink and spreads them.
