Unpepper the salt

This is an amusing dinner-table stunt to show your friends on dry winter days when static electricity is easy to produce. Shake a pile of salt on the tablecloth, flatten the pile with your finger than pour some pepper, you also need to comb your hair then move the comb across the salt and pepper and the comb will only pick up the pepper.

The reason it works is because there is a static charge from combing your hair and because the grains of pepper are lighter than the grains of salt
