Paper Clip Float
The reason i chose this experiment was because i would think paper clips are heavy and would sink to the bottom of a glass of water. I wanted to see one float
The reason the paper clip floated is because of surface tension. This means there is like a real thin skin on the surface of the water. The water molecules hold together tight. If the water molecules are tight enough, it will hold the paper clip to the of the water, making it float. Really it is not floating, the paper clip is being held by surface tension.
