I chose this experiment because I wanted to see that there would be no water leaking out of the baggie when I poked holes with the baggie with water.
The reason why this experiment worked is because the baggie is made out of polymers which are long chains of molecules. When I poked the pencils through the baggie, they slip between these polymers. The molecules seal around the pencil, making water not to leak.
