Color Changing Milk
This experiment is called Color Changing Milk. The reason I chose this experiment is because of the way it looked and how the colors mixed around. The first thing I did was, put whole milk in the plate, put the dish soap in a seperate bowl, then I put four drops of food coloring, each color around the center of the milk. I then took the Q tip with the dish soap end and placed it in the center of all four colors. all of the colors at once mixed and spread out all over the milk.
The reason this worked is because that milk is made up of water, vitamins, protiens, and small drops of fat. When soap is added, the weak chemicals bond that hold the solution. It is changed. The molecules of protien and fat bend, twist and roll in every direction. The rapid mixing of fat and soap causes the mixing of the colors.
