Floating Full Soda Can

I chose this experiment because I wanted to see if a unopened, full can of soda could float.


This experiment worked because even though both the diet soda and regular sodas were unopened and full of soda, when I put both types of soda in the bowl of water they stood up, and quickly, the diet soda can floated. This is because diet soda has less sugar in it than regular soda, making the diet soda can lighter and to float.
